Tasks and responsibilities

  • Analyze data, heatmaps and interview users to understand their expectations.
  • Produce concept models, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups for new web and mobile interfaces.
  • Collaborate within a full stack development team and continually raise the bar for quality in all steps of the process.
  • Translate concepts into functional website front-ends.
  • Align the UX/UI vision between different products.
  • Developing front-end websites.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Multimedia Technology, Digital Arts or a related field.
  • Knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, user-centered design, …
  • Web development in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Knowledge of a JavaScript-framework is a plus.
  • Excellent craft with proficient skills in Adobe creative Suite, Sketch and Prototyping tools such as InVision.
  • An analytical mindset and proactive approach.
  • You can work independent and you are well organized.
  • Very good knowledge of English.  French and/or Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile and Lean methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative software (Gitlab) is a plus.
  • Experience within the e-commerce sector is a plus.

The e-commerce company has an unique and innovative concept and was founded in 2002.         
Today it employs around 70 people. The company wants to expand its IT team with driven and passionate new staff members. Housing and attractive salary will be provided.
