About department

In 1960 due to expansion of the KPI Vilnius Evening Faculty the first three departments were founded -Construction department, Applied Mechanics and Electrical Engineering department. The department of electrical engineering is the oldest department in our university and the only one that kept the same name since the days of foundation.
 
Currently, the department employs 5 professors, 6 associate professors, 1 lecturer, 3 assistants and three PhD students. Electrotechnics an Electronics courses taught in our department are common to most faculties.
